Togetherness Projects

Total presence is the greatest gift we can give, to ourselves and to those we love.

We create what my family calls togetherness projects. We share our ideas online and through our newsletter to inspire you to be completely present and create something with someone you love.

When my children have my total attention I know I am doing something completely good and right in our world–for them and for me. It’s in these moments that children develop self awareness, self worth, and compassion. It’s in these moments they feel love.

By disconnecting from all devices, gadgets, and communications, we show each other that there is nothing more important than spending the present moment together.

It is important to occasionally and consciously disconnect from modern inventions. Let’s indulge and take time to exist in stillness and calm, to be completely present in the space of our bodies. Let’s contemplate the beauty of nature, of Mother Earth and fully witness all that She creates for us every day. Let’s cultivate presence and be fully emotionally, spiritually, and physically available for the people we love. Let’s spend time together outdoors, pause and be completely present with our loved ones, showing each another that there is nothing more important than our time together–no phone call, no text, no television program, no e-mail, no Web site or video game.

It is our deepest wish that you find inspiration on our site to create something in complete presence, with your full mind, body and spirit, connected and fully engaged with someone you love. If you like what you read, please become a Monkey Shines subscriber.

Love and presence,
Becky, Twinkle & Sparkle Jaine
